"I
am Jose Mourinho and I don't change. I arrive with all my qualities and my
defects."-Jose Mourinho Statement.
WHO WILL MOURINHO SIGN?
Jose Mourinho's got a tough summer
ahead to improve United's squad and make it capable of finishing in the
top-four next season. So who has he signed so far, and who's next on the radar?
Eric Bailly ✔
Zlatan Ibrahimovic ✔
Henrikh Mkhitaryan ✔
Hirving Lozano ?
Paul Pogba ?
Hirving Lozano is an attacker who's
scored 21 goals in 91 appearances for Mexican side Pachuca, and his
father-in-law recently revealed he will be signing for Manchester United this
summer.
The Pachuca president has confirmed
negotiations have taken place and Lozano's father-in-law said: "It's all
done. Just missing some details and then after the Olympics it becomes
official."
Jose Mourinho has reportedly told
friends to expect an £80million signing at Manchester United this summer.
The Portuguese manager, who is
starting his first official day of work at Carrington, has already secured
deals for Eric Bailly and Zlatan Ibrahimovic since being appointed back in May.
And, according to the Daily Mail,
Mourinho has informed close acquaintances to get ready for another huge signing
ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
It’s understood his claims could be
referencing a potential move for former United midfielder Paul Pogba who is
being linked with a £100m return to Old Trafford from Juventus.
Ed Woodward is looking to make a
statement as the Red Devils bid to return to the top of English football once
again following difficult spells under David Moyes and Louis van Gaal.
