After leaving Manchester United, Ryan Giggs is coming out of retirement - but who will he play for?


 The Welshman joins former team-mate Paul Scholes, Ronaldinho and Hernan Crespo in the Futsal League in Asia, having come out of retirement for the tournament
Ryan Giggs, Ronaldinho and Hernan Crespo will play in India's Premier Futsal League, it has been confirmed.
The Manchester United icon recently parted ways with the club after 29 years, both as a player and a coach, and will come out of retirement to play in the inaugural edition of the tournament for Mumbai 5's.
Paul Scholes, now of Bengaluru 5's, and Michel Salgado, with Kochi 5's, have already been confirmed as participants in the league, while Ronaldinho has been announced as the marquee player in the league for Goa 5's.

Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs will play in the Indian Premier Futsal League this month, it was confirmed by the franchisee on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old, who left the Red Devils earlier this month after 29 years, will link up with his former United teammate Paul Scholes in the tournament which begins on Friday.
Brazilian legend Ronaldinho and former Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo will also be part of the inagural edition.

With former Portuguese international Deco having to drop out last minute because of injury, former Man United striker Falcao will replace him as the sixth marquee player for the league.
Speaking at the event, Premier Futsal Co-Founder Nithyashree Subban said, "Amidst all the false allegations and attempts to tarnish the image of Premier Futsal, we are proud to kick-start our inaugural edition as scheduled on July 15 here in Chennai.

"It was a strategic decision to host the league in just 2 cities; Chennai and Goa, and with 6 franchises. We have managed to secure signatures of players who are the legends of the game and will be seen playing in India in a few days. As Premier Futsal Management, we are committed to grow Futsal here in India and we will expand the league to other cities in the future editions," he told reporters.


The tournament will take place in eight cities in India and is sceduled to start from July 15 to July 24.
